Catalonia climate …

We think two of the best times for visiting Girona are either between May and the middle of June and from September to mid-October. The heat of summer might be too much for some in the likes of July and August which sees the mercury rising to temperatures of upwards of 31° which if you are sightseeing might be a smidge too much to take.

Discover the real Girona…

mesmerising museums, inspiring galleries and Gothic churches, festooned around a labyrinth of cobbled lanes and mediaeval buildings.

From the diverse nightlife and cosmopolitan dining scene to luscious green spaces and coruscating culture, Girona is THE up-and-coming destination to take a city break. Especially so if you love a spot of retail therapy as there are apparently more shops per capita in this city than anywhere else in the country.
