Need we even mention the real reason people come to Ibiza? If you ever find yourself more than 15 metres away from someone in a warrior pose, do check you’re on the right island. Yoga reigns supreme and wellness retreats are quickly becoming THE places to be and be massaged in. Yes, the super clubs are among the best in the world, but can they really realign anything other than your connection to trance and 90s chart toppers? Laser shows, aerial dancers and glitter canons are a non-too-subtle distraction from Ibiza’s next big thing. Agritourism. Farm-to-table dining is celebrating the island’s produce and transforming farmhouses and fincas into fairy light strewn, vintage chic wonders of gastronomy. And we don’t say that lightly.

Super clubs and socialites steal the headlines but there will always be a spiritual side to Ibiza. Whether that’s down to the glorious sunsets or mystical qualities of nearby Es Vedra, nobody knows. No matter, because it’s these sights clubbers, mystics, bohemians and revellers all gather together to see. Your age, taste in music, what you’re wearing – none of that matters when all eyes are focussed west. And there in lies Ibiza’s magic.

Sunsets and DJ sets…

Ibiza’s party season takes advantage of the island’s hottest weather. Clubbing season spans May to October, and while there’s year round sun, facilities can be more seasonal. By all means visit in December, but expect a distinctly dialled back experience. Spring and autumn bring cooler temperatures and fewer revellers.

Discover the real Ibiza

Given that Ibiza tends towards intoxicating nights, the menus are surprising holistic. So much so that it’s easy to dine and detox your way to health. Don’t worry, gastronomic delights are easily found. As are lengthy cocktail menus. Expect brunch to feature heavily. The meal lie-ins were made for.

Island life so often inspires exploration. And we’ll always be first to champion it. Though, it’s no secret that, in some places, Ibiza prices verge on being extortionate. Rather than sit idly by and let you take an expensive misstep, we’re here to help you sort the Ibizan treasure from the tourist traps.

Rarely will you be far from a party in Ibiza. Or a wellness retreat. But that doesn’t mean your trip to the White Isle will fall into those two distinct spheres.  Beach clubs range from the riotous to indulgent and Ibizan village life charms and delights equally. Adventures you say? Where do we start…

More of the Balearic Islands

Yes, the Balearic Islands play to the party crowd, but they’re also strewn with deserted beaches and historic hoards to romp among. Escape into a pine forest, dream about restoring a long forgotten finca or revel in an island festival. Just don’t forget to feast on Mediterranean meals with a distinctly Spanish touch.  And those beaches we mentioned? Not to give too much away, but comparisons to the Caribbean have been made.
